Spring Into Action is passionate about using market-based strategies to create positive social and environmental change in our local community. Spring’s founding mission is to create living wage-paying job opportunities for people in our community who desperately need them.  We are a true triple-bottom-line enterprise in that we value people, the planet, and profits, in that order.

Spring begins with the belief that all people can grow and change, and that people who are working to transform their lives for the better should have the opportunity to do so. We believe that meaningful employment is crucial in supporting people in rebuilding and repurposing their lives, their communities and the environment. In addition, leadership and mentoring can develop a person's full potential and provide avenues for giving back and restoring one’s dignity and place in the world.

To fully support our employees, we have developed a hybrid business model with The Osborne Association, one of the city’s oldest and most respected organizations for reconnecting people with their families and communities after periods of incarceration. As joint venture partners, we are working together to create a sustainable and supportive business model that both solves market needs and provides career development opportunities for our employees.
